Paypal Big Mistake? May 12, 2007

Since Paypal announce their new rule, most of Malaysian bloggers feel that this is the end of their blogging day. With a lot of rumours about Paypal new strict “law”, this make the issue more hot than a Paris Hilton violation case. Life is getting difficult right?
Well, I don’t like this kind of surprise because it’s related to money wise. Money is not everything but everything we did, it’s always about money. Once we step out from our house, our money will automatically involved. The fact is…. our money was already being stucked in the Paypal account and this is not so coooool.

Remember the day when auntie lilian gave her worried regarding this problem on her blog?
Then, did you notice Hong Kiat put his feeling on his post?
At the same time, Liewcf try to calm all his Malaysian friends thru his honest entry?
Big credit to Liewcf but, I am not 100% sure about this… seems like it will get permanent.
As we know, most of Malaysians don’t have any U.S bank account. Maybe some of you not see this as your major problem because you already got the U.S bank account. But for a certain bloggers who still don’t have it, it’s already being a big disaster for them.
For me, I already make my first step to settle down this. While you’re reading this, the application for my International account was being processed by E*Trade Securities that based in Hong Kong. Once I accept the pin number (maybe next week) and the Platinum card, I can verify my U.S bank account at Paypal.
Basically, this is another alternative for Malaysian to withdraw their money from Paypal account. Before this, Menj’s just did a good job with his VMI card followed by Hong Kiat. Since that, everyone applied for that card.
I never apply for any kind of this card before because I used to trade my USD with my “trader”. She has been dealed with me for so long but for the time being, I have to stop all my future ‘transaction” because Paypal won’t release any single cent of my account.
Mean time, I’m still waiting for my Platinum Card.
Here I would like to thank to Hafiz Latib because he is the one who helping me on this matter. Believe it or not, this is the most cheapest method that I’ve ever use to withdraw my Paypal’s money. It just cost me 10 ringgit for the ebook and another 5 ringgit more to make sure my application was right on the table of the person incharge for my Platinum Card at Hong Kong branch. Waaaa…. doesn’t it sounds great for you?
So if you think that you need this Platinum Card, you can apply one for yourself here. Opss… sorry to say this you can’t buy this MalaysiaPal ebook because Paypal won’t allow you pay it thru your Paypal money. But feel free to contact me (email) and I will send it to you. You can buy it thru my Maybank account and please keep the receipt for the transaction. For online banking, feel free to sms me first on this number (013-7884548) then I will get back online for you.
Hurry, don’t wait for so long because if you don’t accept any payment in a certain of period, Paypal will transfer back all your fund to the sender (that’s mean trouble..!!!!) like what you see in this screenshot:

Paypal big mistake?
No… it’s not their mistake… it’s our mistake!

Hopefully, I will get my International account as soon as possible and I will keep update all my latest information regarding this topic on this blog. Happy blogging!!!!

yeah…
as i said, we have to make our first step because this is a serious problem. hope paypal will forfeit this new rule.
paypal did the right thing.
many malaysian sell things on ebay, get payment thru paypal but did not send the goods after receiving payment. the crooks then transfer the money out and closed the paypal account.
we are being penalised because of them. dont forget we are still on the list of high fraud risk country.

yeah… that’s right.
and they should upgrade their account to premier account too.
Did you sent in a colored photo copied or a black and white photo copied identity card/mykad to Etrade?
it’s a black and white copy.
Thanks for the clarification. Meanwhile, I think I will use pos laju to deliver my forms to Hong Kong.
No problem dude. I have another question to ask. It may sound dumb a little but I just want to make sure everything I do is correct. Did you print the forms yourself? Did you use blue or black ink to write in the forms?
Sorry to bother you again, are we suppose to put our EPF number under that Social Security Number in the E*Trade brokerage form?
what I mean was, does social security number means EPF number?
I see. The instructions asked us to fill in our personal detals and the Social Security number is under personal details. So I was also wondering if we need to fill that.
Geez, because of these people we get penalized for it. First we were “famous” for credit card fraud and now the ebay issue? LOL.
Anyway, yay on your ETrade card.
[…] don’t have an U.S bank account, it will be more suffer. They have to apply for it (VMI & E*Trade card) and they have to inform their fund sender regarding the “acceptance […]
[…] for the alternative way on how to get it. As I noticed, many of Malaysia bloggers had ordered the VMI and E*Trade card for that reason. But there’s a little bit of confusing here […]
Just go to ebay and type Virtual Money ATM/Debit card in the search and you will find the cheapest VMI cards on the net and they are 100 percent guarateed. I ordered for me and all my friends and shipment was quick. good luck
