Reserve PPP Opportunities? May 31, 2007

Posted by weirdoux in : Payperpost , 4comments

What does it mean?
I’m thinking now we can reserve our opportunity at PPP just by clicking the “Take This Opportunity” button.

You can see it by yourself.
Just scroll down to your own PPP opportunities page and you can see this new feature from Payperpost.

Now point your eyes at the grey bar color. It’s clearly stated that “Opportunity is Available to You, but All Posts Fully Reserved“. Again, what does it mean?

Do you think Payperpost got something to say about my “angry” post?

Previously, I was being selected as a featured blogger in Urbanread and this is the second time for me. Now who said that I can’t be on the same page with those top 10 earners?……lol

To Colleen, Tricia, Emily, Chanlilian, Brian, Laurie, Karen, Deb, Amy and Justin… and all the PPP posties, holaaa…and happy blogging..!!!

PPP Direct: The Truth. May 24, 2007

For the whole day, blogosphere are so busy about this new PPP Direct. I can see it in many blogs especially for the blog that have a big influence on how to make money online.

I have my own opinion about this subject and I looking it in a different way. As a blogger, definitely I will try to compare it with others programme (Reviewme). So what I can say here is that maybe there will be a good and a bad effects about this “new stuff”.

The bad things about PPP Direct (compare to Reviewme):

1) Reviewme already got their own marketplace and most of the review orders come from there. It’s not because an advertiser visited the blog and saw the button. It’s kind of “weird+wasted” thing for advertiser to do.

2) Do you think the advertisers will spare their time to find your site through general web surfing? If they really serious want to do it, wouldn’t it be better if they pay the blogger “direct” thru email and save their cost (that 10%) rather than give that 10% to PPP?

The good things about PPP Direct (compare to Reviewme):

1) If blogger can get the opportunity (many opps) via PPP direct, then it’s a good thing because PayPerPost tacks on only 10% to our direct price as their fee (it’s another way around). That’s a lot better than the 50% commission ReviewMe takes.

2) We will see a new style of blogging in the future because this is another way of friendly review. We can have a good relationship with the advertiser for a long term. This new PPP Direct will make blogger more serious about on how to be make a good review. Remember… this is also a direct bonding.

Now that’s my personal opinion. How about you?

Payperpost Bans and Benches. May 24, 2007

Payperpost just say our word regarding the unknown reason why our tack ratings, ban and slower update for their programme. Actually, all the posties will get a big benefit from this new features. Although it’s good for us, but I still have something that I would like to highlight it here.

Take a look at this quote (from Payperpost):

When creating a new opportunity you now have the option to automatically bench any posties that take the opportunity for a period of time.

I’m not so comfortable with this statement. Just imagine if you have more than one blog, like Chanlilian (just example lah auntie… I’m your protege) and then one of her post just got ban from the advertiser…. you know what will happen next right? Does it mean that the rest of her blogs will get ban too?

And one more thing, will advertiser limit their opportunies to one blog per submission?
Because I can see that this Bans and Benches will give an advertiser a big chance to “control” our blogs. Like what Tricia’s said:

The only problem that I see with that is that I’d rather see a bench or ban for the specific BLOG since many of us have more than one blog, on different domains. If the advertiser benches a postie so that they can’t write for them for a period of time they may lose out on the other perhaps own domains blogs that that postie might own that would be perfectly fine for the op to be written on.

So what your say about this new features? Or maybe you should read it by yourself. Click here.
